Pacific Lakes Village The Lake House
RETIREMENT / TAURANGA

The Lakehouse building was the first of the commercial facilities in the Pacific Lakes Village. It is a beautiful award winning timber structure building with decks which over hang the first of the string of lakes within the village. It was designed by Architects Summich Chaplin to reflect a luxury lodge. The mass timber structure is all imported recycled Australian hardwoods, the majority of the timber being recovered from old Sydney Warehouse’s. The interior boosts a café and kitchen and areas to socialise. Outside is a large patio and stone BBQ for catered events and is neighboured by the village bowling green.

Pacific Coast Village Aged Care Facility
RETIREMENT / TAURANGA

C3 was engaged in a ECI capacity to deliver this stunning 4,000m2 palliative care facility in the Pacific Coast Village in Papamoa. It was the last of three buildings forming the core of the support and care facilities in this village. The design was lead by the well known architects Summich Chaplin and continued their theme of high end elegant design. Even though it is essentially a hospital the corridors and communal lounge areas are made up of high quality finishes with intricate ceilings, panel lined walls and large stone fire places. As well as the 36 care suites and 4 lounges the building also contained a commercial laundry and kitchen. The project was delivered on time and to budget, even including the Whatu Ora certification required for it to operate as a health provider.

Ranfurly Village Block E1
RETIREMENT / Auckland

The Ranfurly E1 building is the second stage in a luxury apartment complex in the Ranfurly Retirement Village in Mount Albert. This stage consists of a 5 storey apartment building with 34 apartments and an indoor pool and spa. The building is linked to a previous stage completed by C3 last year and shares common facilities. C3 have been involved with this project from the start in a buildability review capacity carrying through from the previous stage. E1 is trickier than the earlier stage as it is the last building to be built onsite, with no room left within the village. Access and lifting is a major challenge within the operating village. The project commenced in January 2021 and is due for completion July 2022.

THE PACIFIC LAKES VILLAGE
RETIREMENT / Tauranga

This brand-new retirement village is a significant build happening within Papamoa, comprising of accessible villas, bowling green, and a spectacular communal building called The Lakehouse.

This huge project will deliver 220 Villas, 30 Townhouses, and several large commercial buildings which we expect to complete by 2025. With many sub-projects and lots of moving parts, our team start on nine new villas each month with anywhere up to 65-builds going at one time. Construction commenced in 2019, and by early 2022 - despite pandemic lockdowns, labour shortages, and material delays - we've completed over 120 Villas, bowling green, a man-made lake, and The Lakehouse; a stunning space for residents to relax, dine, and socialise.

Designed by one of New Zealand's leading architects, we built The Lakehouse to sit partially over a man-made lake, and used reclaimed natural wood products to enhance its earthy tones, going as far as Australia to ensure we kept sustainability a priority.
