The Lake House

Tauranga / July 2020

The Lake House building was the first of the commercial facilities in the Pacific Lakes Village. It is a beautiful award winning timber structure building with decks which over hang the first of the string of lakes within the village. It was designed by Architects Summich Chaplin to reflect a luxury lodge. The mass timber structure is all imported recycled Australian hardwoods, the majority of the timber being recovered from old Sydney Warehouse’s. The interior boosts a café and kitchen and areas to socialise. Outside is a large patio and stone BBQ for catered events and is neighboured by the village bowling green.
